Crooner Robert Marleigh says: Welcome to the World of Timeless Melody

Robert Marleigh, a Jazz and vintage crooner, singer, and vocalist is a light baritone whose velvet voice transports listeners back to the golden age of jazz, swing and other oldskool genres.

Drawing from the smoky lounges of New York to the sun-kissed shores of Indochina, Marleigh channels the sophistication of legends like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, and Bobby Darin. Whether delivering heartfelt standards or infusing contemporary tracks with vintage shimmer, his performances blend technical precision with soulful authenticity. NYC stage-trained and a decade-plus veteran of remote recording, Marleigh has collaborated with Emmy and Grammy-winning producers, bringing polished vocals to jazz, blues, indie crossovers, and more.

Biography

Born with a voice destined for the spotlight—family lore claims he sang his first notes at birth—Robert Marleigh honed his craft from the heartland of Zanesville, Ohio, to the bright lights of New York City. A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and sharpened at HB Studios, he cut his teeth in Off-Off-Broadway productions before embarking on a global journey. Now based in the vibrant expat scenes of Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, Marleigh performs in intimate jazz clubs, seaside lounges, and high-end resorts, captivating audiences with his Rat Pack-era charisma.

As the alter ego of singer-songwriter and producer Jason Rosette (aka Gone Marshall), Marleigh represents a creative pivot into vintage crooning that began around 2022. This duality allows him to explore the full spectrum of his artistry: from alt-rock introspection to timeless ballads. With over a decade as a remote voiceover talent and session vocalist, he's worked with top composers and production houses worldwide, delivering everything from commercial spots to orchestral arrangements. His treated home studio in Indochina ensures quick turnarounds, while access to facilities in Saigon, Bangkok, Siem Reap, and New York supports larger productions.

Marleigh's life is a tapestry of eclectic experiences—from marlin fishing tales reminiscent of Casablanca to a penchant for vinyl-spun disco in hidden Keys retreats. He's performed across Asia's jazz circuits, bringing old-school glamour to modern crowds, and continues to evolve, blending classics with indie flair.
