In Cambodia, the Ministry of Information is the official Cambodian government Ministry in charge of permits for shoots that are intended for TV broadcast or other non-theatrical uses. (*permits are technically free, though variables may affect the permit process). The Ministry of Information should be the first point of contact for anyone seeking to shoot a non-theatrical shoot in Cambodia.

In Thailand, the Thailand Film Office is the official Thai government office in charge of permits for shoots for all media. Permits themselves are free, though a) all foreign producers are required to hire a local officially registered Thai coordinator or company, and b) a per diem must be provided to an official monitor who will observe the production.
